I feel so ashamed of myself for letting something so horrible slip from my mouth.
I was in JCPenneys today, asking one of my grandma's co-workers how much she charges for violin lessons.
"It depends..."
"On what?" i asked.
"On how long the lessons are."
"How long would you recommend for an absolute beginner?"
"An absolute beginner...?"
"Well, you know I 'fiddled' around with it a little."
I can't believe i said something so stupid and potentially funny without even trying or thinking about it. I didn't even realize what i said until it had already escaped my lips - i gotta tell ya; it's a good thing i'm not light skinned or she would have seen me blush like i never have before.
